🐴 PPE Power of Presence! 💙❤️First, thank you, PPE families! We are incredibly proud of the progress we made with attendance last school year, and we can’t wait to build on that success together! This year, we’re continuing our Power of Presence initiative because every student matters, and every moment counts. Did you know? 📌 Chronic Absenteeism means a student misses 10% or more of the school days they are enrolled—that’s about 2 days per month. All absences count, including excused absences, unexcused absences, suspensions, and expulsions. 📌 Truancy occurs when a student has 5 unexcused absences or 5 unexcused tardies in a semester. Here’s how you can help: ⏰ Arrive before 8:10 a.m. ✅ Be at school every day your child is healthy. 📖 Stay all day to maximize every learning opportunity. 👉make appointments after school or on breaks (calendar attached) Together, let’s continue the momentum and make this our strongest attendance year yet! ❤️ Every Student Matters. Every Moment Counts. #PPEPowerOfPresence #AttendanceMatters #EveryMomentCounts #BePresentBePPE
