This year, we’re continuing our Power of Presence initiative because every student matters, and every moment counts. Did you know? 📌 Chronic Absenteeism means a student misses 10% or more of the school days they are enrolled—that’s about 2 days per month. All absences count, including excused absences, unexcused absences, suspensions, and expulsions. 📌 Truancy occurs when a student has 5 unexcused absences or 5 unexcused tardies in a semester. Here’s how you can help: ⏰ Arrive before 8:10 a.m. ✅ Be at school every day your child is healthy. 📖 Stay all day to maximize every learning opportunity. 👉make appointments after school or on breaks (calendar attached) Together, let’s continue the momentum and make this our strongest attendance year yet! ❤️ Every Student Matters.
